Rental Terms & Conditions
Rental Order
Geno's Formal Affair, Inc. and Mac & Clay are not responsible for fit-related issues when the customer does not try on all rental items prior to the event.
The total liability of Geno's Formal Affair, Inc. or Mac & Clay relating to a rental order shall not exceed the total rental charges paid by the customer for that order.
A $50 reservation deposit is required to reserve a rental order. The $50 reservation deposit is non-refundable if the rental is cancelled at any time prior to the use date.
If the rental is cancelled more than 14 days prior to the use date, any deposits paid in excess of the $50 reservation deposit may be refunded.
If the rental is cancelled within 14 days of the use date, all deposits and payments made toward the rental order will be forfeited and are non-refundable.
Size and Style Changes
Last-minute size changes are permitted at no additional charge, subject to available inventory.
Style changes requested within 14 days of the use date will be subject to a $50 change fee. Any difference in rental price resulting from the style change will also apply.
Rental Return
All rental items must be returned no later than the next business day following the use date, unless otherwise approved by Geno's Formal Affair or Mac & Clay.
The customer agrees to pay a $15 per day late fee for any rental order containing items that are not returned by the required return date. All late fees and other outstanding charges are due and payable upon return of the rental items.
The customer is responsible for the rental items from the time they are received until they are returned and accepted by Geno's Formal Affair or Mac & Clay.
If a rental order remains unreturned for 30 days after the required return date, the order will be considered unreturned. At that time, the customer will be responsible for the full replacement cost of all unreturned items, in addition to any applicable late fees accrued through that date. Unpaid balances may be referred for collection.
Lost, Unreturned, or Damaged Merchandise
In the event that a rental item is lost, stolen, not returned, or damaged beyond repair, the customer agrees to pay the applicable replacement cost.
An item is considered damaged beyond repair when the reasonable cost to repair the item exceeds the cost to replace it with a new or comparable item.
Replacement costs are as follows:
- Coat — $500
- Pant — $200
- Shirt — $75
- Vest — $125
- Cummerbund — $75

- Failure to return rental merchandise
The customer remains responsible for the applicable replacement cost of any item that is lost, stolen, intentionally damaged, or not returned.
